Lead Pastor / Elder
Donovan is married to his sweet and lovely wife Shelly. He also has two incredible sons, Caleb and Luke. He has a Bachelors in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University and a Masters of Divinity from Phoenix Seminary. He is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hiking, mountain biking and most sports. He also likes good BBQ, dabbling with photography and the word “wonky.”
Shelly Christian
Director - Children's Ministry
Shelly is an Arizona native who can’t imagine living anywhere else. She married her high school sweetheart and has two boys. They love playing games and watching movies. Camping is a favorite pastime and traveling to explore new places. Shelly has her Bachelors in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. She desires for kids at Expedition to understand that God loves them and that they are an important part of our church family!
Garth Linkey
Pastor - Discipleship & Worship Ministries
Garth and his lovely wife Laura have been a part of Expedition Church for the past 11 years. They have 3 beautiful daughters and 2 two grandchildren. His journey within the church began over 35 years ago and has encompassed roles as a musician, worship leader, youth volunteer, and elder. Garth is passionate about worship and strongly desires to see people connected to the Lord and each other.
Hunter Parker
Pastor - Youth Ministry
Hunter and Sarah recently got married and are from Southern California. They both have a passion for Youth Ministry and discipling the next generation of the Church. Hunter grew up in the Church and attended the Joshua Wilderness Institute at Hume Lake, where he fell in love with ministry and serving in the local church. Hunter strongly desires the Youth in Payson to become passionate disciples of Jesus.
